Michelle aka “Koinonia”, a native of Trinidad, has been in the Hair Business for over 25 years. Her uniqueness and skill set have made her services coveted; in order to continue to do hair “Caribbean Style” and keep up with her fast growing clientele she opened her own salon. “Koinonia” specializes in all in all facets of hair care, from processed to natural and all in-between, but she enjoys the natural hair side of cosmetology and is dedicated to the evolution of the craft.

Many clients have boasted that Michelle has growing hands and her techniques encompass an experience that is parallel to religious. After having their hair mistreated many have come to her to have their hair pampered in order to encourage healthy growth.  When asked why the services rendered at the Lock Spa are superior to others she responded, “I am dedicated to healthy hair, so I use top quality all natural products.
